My Recommendation

      "Corrupted," written by Lisa Scottoline, is a story of a lawyer named Bennie.  Many years ago she failed in her attempt to get her client (a 12 year old boy named Jason) released from juvenile prison.  He spent 13 years in and out of prison for the crime of defending himself against a bully named Richie during his years in school and beyond.  Both Jason and Richie were incarcerated over time.  The place where they were jailed turned out to be a money-making ploy used by judges!  Scandalous!

        Thirteen years later Jason is accused of killing Richie, so Bennie comes once again to defend him.  Evidence against him is very strong!  Will Bennie be successful in clearing his name?
