One of my favorite authors is Phyllis A. Whitney. She was born on September 9, 1903 and died on February 8, 2008 at the age of 104.
From 1941 to 1997 she wrote 76 books, mostly romantic mysteries, selling over 50 million copies.
The suspense tales are easy-reading and thoroughly entertaining, in my opinion.
On the shelves in your DeSoto Center Library are nine of her books for your reading pleasure.
