I just completed reading for the first time a book written by Mary Jane Clark entitled "To Have and To Kill" found in your DeSoto Center library. It is billed as "A Wedding Cake Mystery" and it piqued my curiosity. The book proved to be an interesting who-done-it without the intricate details that so often plague a story of this kind.
It was a quick and interesting read with emphasis on the cake baker, who is also an aspiring actress. Her friend plans a Christmas Eve wedding and requests that the cake baker make her wedding cake. In the meantime, the bride-to-be receives threatening letters and bodies begin to accumulate. Why is this happening?
Come and see!
