Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury is a story of two athletes who excel on the football field playing in the NFL, and of a woman who works two jobs in order to take care of a young boy whose Mother died, leaving her son to her friend. Megan wants to adopt the boy, Cory, but he is convinced his father is Aaron, one of the football players.
Derrick, the other football player is a family man, who must keep a promise he made years ago as he also continues to mentor foster children.
This is a heartwarming story of love and sacrifice with valuable lessons in building character.
