Graphic Novels




The definition of a graphic novel is a novel whose narrative is related through a combination of text and art, often in comic-strip form.  The utilization of graphic novels and comics are quickly becoming an exciting and effective way to improve engagement and promote literacy. In fact, they’re great for all students regardless of their reading level.  Join the "Using Graphic Novels to Support Literacy."   Here are a few of the graphic novels that Desoto Library has added to the collection.
